In 2019, Adobe decided to discontinue its smaller price plans and in lieu of forcing everyone to use Creative Cloud.
This shift has understandably angered Adobe customers. Adobe users have also been posting on social media about how they have been threatened with legal action for using older versions of Adobe tools.
Adobe has sent some users of its Lightroom Classic, Photoshop, Premiere, Animate, and Media Director programs a letter warning them that they were no longer legally authorized to use the software they may have thought they owned.
I just got an email from @Adobe that I’m no longer allowed to use the software that I’m paying for. Time to cancel my subscription I guess.
