Join.me is a user-friendly, quick-loading, FREE screen-sharing tool. A great alternative to Google Hangouts or paid services like GoToMeeting, join.me allows users to click a link to instantly join a meeting, without needing to provide log-in credentials or downloading anything.


Smallpdf is a web-based PDF manipulation tool that offers some of the essential functionality of Adobe Acrobat, but for FREE. Smallpdf is secure, offers an intuitive interface, and allows you to edit, compress, merge, and split PDF documents as well as convert JPG, PPT, Excel, and Word into PDF.


Everyone is tired of the stodgy, poorly-done PowerPoint presentations that put you to sleep by Slide 3. Prezi offers a great alternative – turn your PowerPoints from boring slides to interactive, visually-engaging presentations. FaxZero.com allows you to send faxes free to anywhere in the US and Canada. Not that anyone really uses fax anymore, but great for your interactions with non-tech savvy businesses, or anyone that prefers outdated technology. At the time of this posting, they offer a free, FaxZero-branded fax or non-branded faxes for $1.99 per fax.


HelloSign allows you to securely and quickly send and execute legally binding documents via eSignature. Sign documents yourself or request signatures from up to 20 different people in any order, or all at once. And when the document is fully executed, everyone gets a copy delivered to their inbox. See your documents progress with status notifications that keep you in the loop throughout. Their Gmail integration is also top-drawer. At the time of this posting, the tool is free for up to 3 documents per month.


Screenr is a web-based screen recorder that allows you to easily create and share screencasts around the web. It’s as simple as clicking the record button, which captures your screen and voice and allows you to easily share a link to the screencast. You don’t need to install or download anything. At the time of this posting, the tool is free.


Google Translate is a free translation service that provides instant translations between dozens of different languages. It can translate words, sentences and web pages between any combination of their supported languages. The translation isn’t always perfect, but it’s getting better and better as Google rolls out crowd-sourced site translations via their Translator Toolkit.


WeTransfer allows you to send large files via email. The tool is free to send up to 2GB files, with no registration needed. The tool is easy to use and secure.
